Hi everyone,
Thank you all for the constant support! We have achieved our 3rd Stretch Goal: More Pets!
Because of our amazing community, we are now able to add 15 additional pets to ANew Leaf: Memories. We have opened a survey where you can suggest a pet you would like to see (and have) in the game.

Romance
Most members of our community have been asking about the dateables on Omoide Island. There will be a total of 18 NPCs that are romanceable! Of the 18 romance options, there will be 6 individuals that are not Omoide Island natives and whom you will be introduced to as you progress through the game.

Bike Riding
The next stretch goal that we hope to unlock is bike riding! Not only can you travel through Omoide Island in style, but your pet will be able to ride with you - this will save them considerable energy and will make them the happiest pet around. Bike riding will also allow additional features to be added to the game such as quests and events!

Hi everyone,
Thank you all so much! Because of your support, we have unlocked our second stretch goal! Pet costumes have now officially been unlocked!
Since our last update, we have added two more costumes for your pets:

We are so excited to now set our sights on our next stretch goal: Choose More Pets.
If we are lucky enough to reach this next achievement, we will be doing a voting system across social media and Discord to have you, our amazing community, help decide what 15 additional pets and breeds you want to see in A New Leaf: Memories.
We will be posting a separate update on what this process will look like and when we will begin taking and tallying your suggestions, so please stay tuned!
Since we are constantly looking to evolve our game for the better, we are also working on remodeling some key farm animals. Take a look at the concept art below!

Hello everyone,
We did it! We reached our first stretch goal and are fully funded! That means that A New Leaf: Memories will be released on Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch.
Our team would like to thank everyone for their amazing support. We look forward to working together with you, our amazing community, in developing this game to reach its full potential. We want to make this game into something that everyone will love.
Now that we have reached our first stretch goal, we want to highlight the next big feature we would like to add to the game:
Our next stretch goal is to craft and implement pet costumes for your furry companions. We wanted to share a sneak peak of some of our ideas below. Every pet you own will have the opportunity to wear any given costume. For example, a Shiba Inu will also be able to wear the Santa Claus costume and hat for when the holidays roll around!

My name is Liam and I'm the lead of IronHeart Studios. My dream has always been to create a game and, with your help, it seems like that dream is finally coming true! I am thrilled to see how many people are supportive and interested in playing A New Leaf: Memories. I’m a big fan of classic games like Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing (not to mention I’m a big pet lover). With your continued support, I am optimistic in bringing A New Leaf: Memories to life for all to celebrate.
We are beyond grateful for your support and would like to assure you that we’re going to work as hard as we can to make this a game you can be proud of. Soon to be one of the best farming sims out there, A New Leaf: Memories has plenty of unique mechanics that we plan on adding to the game. Don’t worry, we will be revealing these exciting game features in our future updates.
In the meantime, we would like to address a few of our most popular questions:
Will there be multiplayer?
As excited as we are to add multiplayer to the game, we, unfortunately, cannot implement this function unless we reach a certain milestone (this one, in particular, is a stretch goal). We are a relatively small team and would have to hire additional professionals to help us add and support multiplayer to the game. Based on our estimates, we have multiplayer listed under our $500K stretch goal. While it may be too early in our journey to divulge further information, we are excited to see if our Kickstarter campaign can help us achieve these larger goals.
Can I receive any extra rewards?
Yes, yes and yes! We have new add-ons that you can find listed below. In order to obtain these items, all you need to do is adjust your pledge to match the value of your desired add-on.

HOW DO I INCLUDE ADD-ONS IN MY PLEDGE?
1 - Click on the "Manage your pledge" button above (the button will only appear if you have already pledged).
2 - Increase your pledge in the "Pledge Amount" box by the total of the add-ons you want to add.

Will there be a same-sex marriage? Yes!
Will I be able to choose a platform to go with my respective key? Yes, but please keep in mind that Alpha and Beta are only for PC. You will be able to play on PC and then, closer to release, you will be able to pick a key for your platform PC (Alpha and Beta are going to be discontinued).

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to pop in with a quick update as the team has been receiving plenty of questions regarding pets. As a pet lover myself, creating a game where I can also have a pet is a dream come true.
We currently have a handful of different dog and cat breeds to choose from (see below) and, depending on the success of our Kickstarter campaign, we hope to expand this list drastically!
Pet Q&A
Will pets come in different colors?
Yes! Currently, you will be able to select an alternative coat for the respective breed of your animal. For example, your Shiba Inu can have a classic red coat like the one above or you can give your pet a beautiful black and tan look.

What new pets will be available if we unlock stretch goals?
If we are lucky enough to have our stretch goals funded, we would like to host a poll on our Discord and across social media for all of our fans to decide new pet additions. We appreciate your feedback and opinions and this would be a small thank you for your help in funding this game.
For now, your pets will have their own happiness, stamina, and overall status bars. They can assist you with farm activities like harvesting, playing fetch, and can be pet as much as they desire! We hope to add new breeds, colors, and even activities to A New Leaf: Memories with your help.
Can I have more than one pet?
Once we unlock the stretch goal, ‘Choose More Pets,’ you will also be able to choose from 1-5 pets on your farm to bring with you on your adventures around Omoide Island. Fill your home with the animals of your choosing and give them endless pets and cuddles. Just be sure you can give them the care and attention that each one deserves!
Additionally, if our ‘Bike Riding’ stretch goal is unlocked, you will be able to bring your pet along for bike rides around the island. This activity will further increase their happiness bar while maintaining a steady stamina bar - this means that your pet will have more energy as opposed to following you on foot!
